Hi,

I am interested in buying the 4CD set brought out by Sangeet Kendra
of the Ahmedabad programme. Can you help ?

I also recall a live programme that I atteneded at Birla Matushri
Sabhagriha, Mumbai in the late seventies under the aegis of Ustad
Hafiz Ali Khan Music festival where Ustadji sang an elaborate khayal
in Raag Ragesshwari. It is deeply etched in my memory and I have
been trying to obtain a recording of the same for the last over 25 years.
Can you help me on this one too ?

Dear Gagandeep if you wanna do research on Ustad Sharafat Hussain Khan Saheb or Agra Gharana then you should discuss this matter with Pt. Yashpaul Ji (Desciple of Ustad Sharafat Hussain Khan Saheb). He is the best sourse and living Legend of Agra Gharana.

I have the good fortune of attending many concerts of Sharafat Sahabji
in Calcutta. I am looking to purchase recordings and would be very happy if I am informed of the source. His music is outstanding and his alaap unforgetable the way he unfolded the raag in absolutely no hurry and dwelt on each note. unforgetable. Thanks
