IT WAS GREAT TO HEAR ON YOUR WEBSITE PANDIJI’S GUJARATI SONG “RAJA TARA DUNGARIYA PAR….”
IN AHMEDABAD IN 1950’s I ENJOYED HIM LIVE.
LATER, HIS STUDENTS MR.TRIVEDI, ATUL DESAI AS WELL WHO CARRIED HIS TOURCH AND PANDITJI’S TEACHING.
IF, YOU CAN PUT ” VIRATNO HINDOLO…..VANDE MATARAM ect IT WILL BE NICE TO LISTEN TO PANDITJI (SHRI OMKAAR NATH THAKURJI)

Infinite Joy,
Great work! What a treasure … hours of effort, I’m sure; but now translating into ‘infinite joy’ for everyone with access & appreciation.
I am just exploring now, but really hope this expands into a whole world of music – carnatic, western et al.

Hi, this is a great site.
Two corrections I would like to bring to your attention.
1) Shankarrao Vyas Profile- songs are sung by Pt.Narayanrao Vyas & not by Pt.Shankarrao Vyas as the site claims. ( Raga Champak & Kafi-kanada)
2) Again, this is not Kafi-kanada but Bageshree-kanada.
This bageshree-kanada composition ( Dil nahee lagada) is a traditional Gwalior Bandish.
and this Raga Champak composition( Banu mei bajawat–) -lyrics is by Shankarrao Vyas, but sung by Pt Narayanrao Vyas.
Kindly incorporate these two corrections.
Rest is fine.

I have been listening to hardcore hindustani classical for over 50 years. There is so much unheard music lying in archives, with connoisseurs, perhaps gathering dust in old boxes left behind by music lovers of the past now neglected by their progeny who know not their value that it seems such a pity that today’s rasiks should be deprived of the pleasure of listening to them.
A few folks like you are doing something about this terrible loss. I can only say thanks a lot. Do not flag or give up. There are many music lovers who are grateful to you and many more will discover your site and enjoy the music. I am a fan of the Agra Gharana for certain reasons which I can elaborate later. How about Latafat Hussain, Vilayat Hussain, Bande Hassan, Azmat HussainRatanjankar, Faiyyaz Khan to name some of the greats ? Just a thought. I know it is hard work and you have to be fair.
